Pineapple, Ginger, and Turmeric Smoothie

Let's talk about turmeric. The spice's main active ingredient is curcumin, which has powerful anti-inflammatory effects, is a very strong antioxidant, and has shown to increase brain health and function. Start your day right with this pineapple turmeric smoothie. 

SPICES: ground turmeric, ground ginger

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric 
  • 1 tsp ground ginger 
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup almond milk 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend thoroughly (until smooth and creamy - about 30 seconds).
